During April of 1573, there were no Skirmishes, but two notable Invasions.
There were eight challenges issued, though only five of them were accepted.

Kaneko Katsurou vs Sunēku Gaidoku: Declined

Katsurou: "Junpei said I should come after you too!"
Gaidoku: "... I have to refuse your offer for now. I still appreciate the fact that you came all this way,
to challenge me personally though, even if Shimagata seemed to have sent you... So... if you wouldn't mind,
changing this challenge from a physical fight to a game of Shōgi, you wouldn't have come this way for nothing."

Gaidoku earns a +50 Shame penalty, for refusing to fight for his honor.
▢ As no duel was fought, no XP was awarded to either participant.

Kaneko Katsurou vs Lady Koshōshō: Accepted.

Motochika: "The great Motochika has been challenged? Very well." He grins smugly,
"But even a vicious dog cannot bite the devil of the western seas! Let's fuckin' party, kid!"

But before the duel begins, Lady Koshōshō interjects, insisting she should duel him first.

The two clash fiercely, but the pirate's wench has more than a few tricks up her sleeve.
Though in terms of defense and melee they are equal, Koshōshō much more combat skill.
She is then is able to trip and trick, tease and taunt, and bludgeon a deadly path to victory.
In perhaps some of the most dirty fighting Shikoku has seen in decades, Katsurou is beaten.

▢ Koshōshō has earned +25 Honor for her Decisive victory, and +0.5 XP.
▢ Katsurou has sustained Injuries, and his Influence is slightly lowered.

Kaneko Katsurou vs Chōsokabe Motochika: Declined

"Those who aren't me wish they were. Most fear me, so ya got balls if you haven't shit yerself yet!
But ya couldn't even beat my concubine! The great Motochika would beat ya before ya even blinked!
Come back when ya learn how to be a man! If yer not sure where to find me, just ask any woman."

Motochika earns a +50 Shame penalty, for refusing to fight the brave Katsurou.

Tachibana Ginchiyo vs Lady Koshōshō: Accepted

Ginchiyo and Koshōshō clash on the field, Evenly matched in combat and defensive prowess.
Though Ginchiyo's trigger finger is ready, Koshōshō swings her bludgeon with the force of a boulder.
In a flurry of bullets and blunts - the battle ends in a close draw. The two beauties best each other!

▢ However, both have also suffered Light Injuries, as a result of a fierce match!

Ginchiyo vs Shimamoto Matsuda: Mutually challenged

Matsuda: "You may have done well enough against Mugen-dono,
but I'll make sure you know the Kurosaki clan is destined to lead Kyushu! I'll wager 25 Ryo on it!"
Ginchiyo spits in Matsuda's direction as she loads her rifle, not offering any dueling formalities.
Muneshige cringes somewhere in the distance, but does his best not to intervene or say anything.

The Wager is 25 Ryos - from the loser, to the victor.

Ginchiyo and Matsuda clash on the field, closely matched in combat and defensive prowess.
Though sword arm is swift, Ginchiyo's trigger finger is equally so. The two pull no punches here,
in a flurry of bullets and blades - the battle ends in a close draw. The Wager is nullified, as such.

Shimamoto vs Lady Koshōshō: Mutually challenged

Matsuda: "Let's see if a sea rat like you can handle a true warrior! I'll wager 25 Ryo..."
Matsuda looks down at a note written by Mugen, since he was unable to think up a decent insult on his own.
"...because that'll buy me a night with a prostitute tenfold in beauty compared to an old hag like you!"

Koshōshō: "A'right then, boy. I'll entertain ya for a bit - ya better be prepared!"

Mizushima Otohiko vs Rokuda Ren: Declined.

Otohiko: "Ne... Wanna spar with me? I think it'd be fun!"
Ren:"Mizushima-san, I do not believe I can offer you much in that of a sparring partner,
having spent most of my time in religious study. However if you still feel that i would be a strong opponent to you then i will spar with you"
Otohiko:"Ahh- Religious study, you say? Sorry, sorry, I didn't know!
Did I overstep a boundary? No need ta fight then. Maybe you'd rather go fishing instead?"

Ren earns a +25 Shame penalty, reduced by Otohiko forfeiting his challenge.

Takeda Matsuhime vs Uesugi Kagekatsu (Lightly Injured): Accepted.

Matsuhime finds Kagekatsu in one of Echigo's stables, sleeping off his injuries.
However, he awakens excitedly upon seeing his rival came so far to challenge him.

"I haven't stopped thinking of you since our last meeting, Takeda Katsuyori!
You let your arrows fly with unrivaled fury and form, it ignites my burning soul!"
He winces a bit as he grabs his spear, "Let's make this duel just as memorable!"

Kagekatsu and Matsuhime (whom was once again mistaken for Katsuyori) duel!
The two clashed fiercely, A two-way rain of deadly arrows and spear thrusts and jabs.
Though in their last meeting, Kagekatsu slightly overpowered Matsuhime's lower defenses,
but his injuries hold him back this time, and the fierce duel ultimately ends in a Draw.

▢ Both warriors earned +25 Honor for their Incredible Display, and +0.5 XP.
▢ However, Matsuhime suffered Light Injuries, and Kagekatsu's Injuries worsen to Serious!

Invasion of the Kii Channel (Shimagata vs Rebels):

Shimagata Junpei deploys 1 Ship into the unclaimed Kii Channel.
As none control these waters, only minimal rebel resistance is met.

The Kii Channel now belongs to Shimagata Junpei.

Invasion of the Bungo Channel (Chōsokabe vs Rebels):

Chōsokabe Motochika deploys 3 Ships into the unclaimed Bungo Channel.
As none control these waters, only minimal rebel resistance is met by pirates.

The Bungo Channel now belongs to Chōsokabe Motochika.
